The World of Vincent Elizabeth

An invitation into a new perspective on bridal.

FOUNDED IN 2026…

by Corrie Hammond, Vincent Elizabeth Bridal began as the culmination of nearly a decade spent immersed in the bridal industry, and a vision for what its next chapter could look like.

Its roots stretch from the bridal boutiques of New England to the fitting rooms of Arizona and markets around the United States, where years of hands-on experience, industry relationships, and an enduring curiosity for the craft gradually shaped the idea behind Vincent Elizabeth.

The brand found its home in St. Petersburg, Florida, a city whose creative energy, coastal character, and appreciation for individuality felt like a natural setting for something new. Along the lively, Central Avenue corridor, nestled next to Historic Kenwood, a once-empty storefront began its transformation into a bridal destination with a point of view entirely its own.

The world of Vincent Elizabeth draws from seemingly different places: the quiet sophistication of the founder’s New England youth, the warmth of Florida's Gulf Coast, the romance of traditional interiors, and the ever-evolving language of fashion. Together, these influences shape a space that feels collected rather than constructed, where familiar details meet a distinctly contemporary perspective.

Behind its aesthetic is a foundation built on years of technical knowledge, particularly in bridal construction, body-fit engineering, and size-inclusive buying. Rather than treating these disciplines as separate from the experience, Vincent Elizabeth brings them into the very fabric of the boutique, influencing everything from its collection to the people entrusted with guiding its brides.

With its inaugural collection, Vincent Elizabeth introduces a carefully considered assortment of bridal fashion, spanning sample sizes 0–38 and bringing together established designers, emerging names, and thoughtfully selected silhouettes.

Yet the ambition behind Vincent Elizabeth has always extended beyond the walls of its first boutique. Conceived as a growing world of fashion, education, creative expression, and community, the brand begins in bridal, with an appreciation for everything that surrounds it.

Its first chapter unfolds in St. Petersburg. The rest is still being written.

Corrie Hammond

At just 23 years old, Corrie Hammond launched Vincent Elizabeth Bridal with an unheard-of nine years of experience in the industry she had spent nearly half her life working in.

Her story began at 14, in a small bridal boutique in Massachusetts, where an early love for wedding dresses quickly evolved into an obsession with the why behind them. Why were brides drawn to certain silhouettes, fabrics, and details? What made one gown feel extraordinary and another fall short? And why did so much knowledge seem to get lost somewhere between designers, buyers, boutiques, and the women actually wearing the dresses?

For Hammond, the questions were just as fascinating as the fashion.

A move to Arizona marked the next chapter. While earning her degree in Sociology at Arizona State University, she spent five more years immersed in bridal fashion, expanding her work beyond the fitting room into buying, training, and creative direction. Her academic interest in human behavior offered another lens through which to understand an industry built around some of life's most personal decisions.

It was during these years that Hammond developed a particular fascination with body-fit engineering and specialized in plus-size bridal construction. Through formal training and hands-on experience, she studied the architecture beneath the fabric: the placement of boning, the proportions of a bodice, the structure required to support different bodies, and the often-overlooked distinction between sizing a gown and designing it to fit.

As the bridal industry emerged from the pandemic, she also began noticing something less visible. Generations of technical knowledge, once shared through mentorship and years on the sales floor, were increasingly failing to reach the next wave of bridal professionals. The disconnect between designers, buyers, stylists, and their clients was becoming difficult to ignore, and brides were often left feeling the consequences and Corrie became determined to make that knowledge more accessible.

Through her social media platforms, she began bringing the conversations traditionally reserved for industry professionals directly to brides. Her candid explanations of gown construction, fit, and bridal shopping helped establish her as an emerging voice in bridal education, reaching both consumers and professionals well beyond the boutiques where she worked.

By 2026, what had begun as a teenage fascination had become a career spanning nearly a decade, shaped by an unusual combination of technical expertise, creative instinct, and an enduring curiosity about people.

That same year, Hammond founded Vincent Elizabeth Bridal in St. Petersburg, Florida, bringing a new chapter to a story that had started nine years earlier on a Massachusetts sales floor.

For her, it has never been enough to know that something works. She has always wanted to know why.

And, perhaps more importantly, to make sure the next person does, too.
